The Kanmak KM 5000 is a fully automatic machine for fastening 14–17 mm garment buttons. Its two-hopper feeding system, automatic pressure adjustment and interchangeable tooling support fast and consistent production.
Depending on the application, it can complete approximately 35,000 fastening operations in an eight-hour shift with an average waste rate of approximately 1%.
The KM 5000 is a fully automatic machine designed for fastening 14–17 mm garment buttons. It works with fixed-shank, pierced and similar button types, depending on the installed feeding channels and dies.
Two material hoppers automatically feed the button and fastening component through separate channels. This system supports fast, consistent production and reduces manual handling.
Optional channels and dies are available for different button sizes and fastening components. The operator can complete a typical product changeover in approximately one to two minutes by replacing the relevant channels and dies. Optional fork-nail tooling can also be supplied for compatible applications.
Depending on the button, fabric and operating conditions, the KM 5000 can complete approximately 35,000 fastening operations in an eight-hour shift. Under suitable production conditions, the average waste rate is approximately 1%.
The automatic pressure adjustment adapts the fastening force to the fabric type and thickness, helping the machine deliver consistent results on different materials.
The KM 5000 uses hardened steel working parts and dies. Metal surfaces are hard-chrome plated, while the body has a durable powder-coated finish for resistance to moisture and impact. The machine provides up to 1,000 kg of pressing force.
